LOTS OF NEW NEWS TODAY SO MAKE SURE YOU READ TO THE END!!

DEVOTION:  "In those days, at that time," declares the Lord, "the people of Israel and the people of Judah together will go in tears to seek the Lord their God.  Jeremiah 50:4
Sometimes it take a tragedy of utter proportions for us to seek the Lord.  The Babylonians had captured Israel and the they were deep into their exile at the time that Jeremiah writes this.  It took the whole nation being led into captivity for the people to turn "in tears" to seek the Lord.
If you are reading this today, you probably have already turned to the Lord to seek Him.  Maybe not.  Maybe you stumbled upon it by accident today and are just now realizing that you need to turn to the Lord before the tragedy strikes.  Maybe it's not you, but you know of someone who needs to turn to the Lord before it's too late.
Whatever the case may be through Jeremiah the Lord is giving us wonderful teachings on how important it is to stay close to Him, to cling to Him and never let go.  I urge you to stick to Jesus as tight as you can.  Lean on Him!  Focus on Him.  Rely on Him!  Give yourself up to Him!  Don't wait until you are taken captive!

Prayer:  Lord God, be my rock and my fortress against all the enemies of my soul that I may rest and relax in You!  Amen.

Sam Hargrove- Army- 2 Lieutenant- Ft Rucker, Alabama, will be going through helicopter flight school and other training

David Mincemeyer- Army- Army Specialist- Ft. Carson, CO

Ryan Woolf- Air Force- Airman 1st Class- Buckley Air Force Base, near Denver, CO

If there are more out there that I just don't know about, please let me know, and I will include him/her on the list.

Also, if you would like your family member or friend included in this list, please reply to this email with all the information!

Pray for these guys.  Some of these guys are in harm's way right now, others are training to put themselves in harm's way.  All of them have volunteered to serve and protect their country (which is you).
