DEVOTION: John 2:1-11 English Standard Version (ESV)

The Wedding at Cana

On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, "They have no wine." And Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come." His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."

Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons.[a] Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water." And they filled them up to the brim. And he said to them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast." So they took it. When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom 10 and said to him, "Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now." 11 This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.

FREE CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND RECONCILIATION COURSE AVAILABLE ONLINE

Are you in a conflict with a brother, sister, parent, spouse, or friend? Do you want to end that conflict and gain back loved ones and friends?  Do you want to mend fences and rebuild bridges?  Do you want to get rid of all the bitterness, anger, and resentment that you have toward others or that someone might have toward you?  Do you want to do what GOD wants you to do in your broken relationships, but you don't know where or how to start?

Ambassadors of Reconciliation has some great tools that will help to teach you and guide you through a process of doing just that at https://www.aorhope.org/ .

You can receive access to a free online course called "Conflict Resolution vs. Reconciliation"  at https://www.aorhope.org/aor-gift because I sponsored your scholarship. Simply go to that link to access this on-line course about biblical reconciliation. It is excellent.

I took a challenge to sponsor scholarships for several people at St. John's, because I want as many people as possible to take this course and learn to go and be reconciled to one another!  If you think it is helpful you can take the challenge yourself and nominate others!

Let me know if you take the course, so I can know how many people my donation has helped!
