Please add Cathy Wilkinson and her family to prayers this Sunday morning. Pastor Ed Wilkinson went home to be with his Lord last evening. You can read Cathy's message to be below. By now you have listened to your cell phone voice mail too. What a nice man Ed was! And a great & faithful servant of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Didn't know if you had heard, but Ed had massive heart attack last evening & passed away within seconds. He's finally at peace. We are meeting the Pitman on Mon but looking at Fri evening, viewing & Sat service, 26 & 27. Just wanted to make sure you knew. I will send out email when I have all the details. Love, Cath

Hi Cathy,
Our church secretary, Marilyn told me today that you and Ed are moving back to Indiana. I certainly understand that will be good for you with your kiddos there. You guys will be missed in Warrenton though!!!!
I would love to treat you to lunch or maybe a dinner with all 4 (you, me, Ed and Steve) of us! We have always said we wanted to do that! Guess we better hurry, eh?
Let me know your plans for moving. If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know.

Mission Statement
The mission of St. John's Lutheran Church is to preach the Word of God in its purity and to teach this Word to all people. We do so through the means God has given us, the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.
What We Believe
The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod accepts the Scriptures as the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and subscribes unconditionally to all the symbolical books of the Evangelical Lutheran Church as a true and unadulterated statement and exposition of the Word of God.
We accept the Confessions because they are drawn from the Word of God and on that account regard their doctrinal content as a true and binding exposition of Holy Scripture and as authoritative for all pastors, congregations and other rostered church workers of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
