Pastor, I realize that this family is not known by our congregation, however, I know them very well and can attest to the fact that they are extremely loving, motivated and smart.  I have had 2 of the three children as students.  I would be very grateful if you could pass this on to our church family to see if anyone would be willing to give a donation.  We are all about service and this is a very wonderful opportunity.

Thanks,

Hello, Everyone,

In recent weeks, we have learned of a family who, (through no fault of their own), are facing homelessness. The oldest daughter is our 8th grader, Ama Antwi, who lives with her mom and 2 younger siblings. If anyone has met Ama's mom, you know what an amazing lady she is.

Please click on the site in purple below and read more about their situation.

There is a campaign started by friends & neighbors to help this family save their home. Anyone interested in helping can do so thru this site. This seems like a great opportunity to come together as a community for this deserving family.

Dear Staff,

There is a current Hawthorn family in need.  Eunice Antwi is a 4th grader in Mrs. Pfizenmaier's classroom, and she has a sister at DuBray Middle and one brother who is not yet school age.  Please click on the link to read their story.  You may have trouble viewing the video clip since it's through YouTube, but you can always watch at home.  If you are willing, you can donate through this website that Angela Meisenheimer and her husband set up.
