Update from Teresa Scott

For inclusion in daily newsletter:
I would like to offer a prayer of thanks to all blood donors and encourage anyone who can give, to do so.  On the medical front, I had my 2nd chemo treatment yesterday followed last night by a blood transfusion. The chemo was an iv and the process made me tired, so I slept through it.  Felt good both before and after.  I certainly appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers.

DEVOTION:  Philippians 2:5-11 English Standard Version (ESV)

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,[a]who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,[b] but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant,[c] being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

PREGNANCY OPTIONS CENTER BANQUET HELP NEEDED

If you want to help out the Pregnancy Option Center but don't have the funds to do so, there is another way to help.  Their major fundraising banquet is Thursday, April 5 and they are in need of servers and others to help in all different sorts of ways. There will be a training the day before if you can make it and I can get you the info on that after you volunteer.  You'll need to be there about 5 on Thursday, and we'd like you to wear black pants or skirt and white shirt/blouse so that you can be identified as a helper that night.
