Leonard Waalen visitation and funeral plans

Leonard Waalen passed away yesterday after a long battle with Alzheimers and complications from pneumonia.
 
His visitation and funeral will be at Pitman funeral home in WENTZVILLE. 
 
Visitation: 9am-10:30am
 
Funeral: Noon
 
Burial at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis: 2pm

Hello to all,

 

I just left mom at Mercy Skilled Nursing facility.  She did really well with the transfer. She's very happy to have all the tubes, wires extra tape etc. off of her body.  I could see that she has a lot more strength today and is determined to do what they say as far as rehab exercises etc.  She has a roommate - seems to be a very nice lady who has some other kind of heart issues. 

 

Mom is in Room 79 - bed 1 or A and will probably be there a week.  That depends on how she's coming along with rehab.  The address is 12120 Conway Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63141 which is across the road from Mercy Hospital.  She has a phone in her room but really does not feel like talking too much yet.
