We received a call this morning from Dorothy Kopp telling us that her husband, John, took a very serious fall the other day coming out of a restaurant. He broke both wrists, some facial bones and general very serious head injury. John has been battling cancer for several years now and has been fighting it with great courage and faith in our Lord. John and Dorothy live here in Warrenton and are members at First Baptist Church in Wright City. He is a retired drama teacher (maybe Hazelwood - not sure though) and has played an active role in local theater for many years. They are a great couple and Steve and I were just so sad to hear about his horrible fall, especially with all the cancer battles. Due to the cancer and treatments he has lost much weight over the past years. Please keep John and Dorothy in your prayers.

The mission of St. John's Lutheran Church is to preach the Word of God in its purity and to teach this Word to all people. We do so through the means God has given us, the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.
What We Believe
The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod accepts the Scriptures as the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and subscribes unconditionally to all the symbolical books of the Evangelical Lutheran Church as a true and unadulterated statement and exposition of the Word of God.
We accept the Confessions because they are drawn from the Word of God and on that account regard their doctrinal content as a true and binding exposition of Holy Scripture and as authoritative for all pastors, congregations and other rostered church workers of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
