St. Trinity, St. Louis' most pressing project right now is the restoration of the former parsonage. This beautiful home had fallen into disrepair but is well on its way to being restored. When completed it will become a centerpiece of our work. It will be an attractive gathering place both for the neighbors and for regulars at St. Trinity. It will be used for study, fellowship and social events. It will also provide housing for interns and mission teams on the second floor. It's close enough to the sanctuary to be used for Sunday School and much more. Read more. . .
Through the power of God's love St. John's Lutheran Church, Monett undertook an initiative in the spring of 2014 to share His love with people in our community. It started with a challenge by our Pastor to raise funds with the purpose of "giving it away" to families in need. During the balance of 2014, the church raised $10,764. In December of that year working with area organizations and school counselors, 15 recipients were identified. Each was provided a check in the amount of $500. Read more. . .

The mission of St. John's Lutheran Church is to preach the Word of God in its purity and to teach this Word to all people. We do so through the means God has given us, the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.
What We Believe
The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod accepts the Scriptures as the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and subscribes unconditionally to all the symbolical books of the Evangelical Lutheran Church as a true and unadulterated statement and exposition of the Word of God.
We accept the Confessions because they are drawn from the Word of God and on that account regard their doctrinal content as a true and binding exposition of Holy Scripture and as authoritative for all pastors, congregations and other rostered church workers of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
