CFNA (Christian Friends of New Americans) is helping the immigrant and refugee population in unique and wonderful ways! 99% of this population are wonderful people who were just handed a bad lot in life. When given opportunities to do good, they do! Check it out and support CFNA as you are able!

DAILY DEVOTION AND CHURCH NEWS: Monday, Sept. 24, 2018
DEVOTION: Psalm 104:27-35 English Standard Version (ESV)
27 These all look to you,
to give them their food in due season.
28 When you give it to them, they gather it up;
when you open your hand, they are filled with good things.
29 When you hide your face, they are dismayed;
when you take away their breath, they die
and return to their dust.
30 When you send forth your Spirit,[a] they are created,
and you renew the face of the ground.
31 May the glory of the Lord endure forever;
may the Lord rejoice in his works,
32 who looks on the earth and it trembles,
who touches the mountains and they smoke!
33 I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being.
34 May my meditation be pleasing to him,
for I rejoice in the Lord.
35 Let sinners be consumed from the earth,
and let the wicked be no more!

YESTERDAY'S QUIZ: What was the meaning of Daniel's dream about the four beasts? The 4 beasts were the 4 powers that ruled over the Israelites. The first, the winged lion was Babylon, the second, the bear was Persians, the third, the leopard was Greece, and the fourth, the most dreadful and powerful with 10 horns was Rome. But there is a more powerful one to come who will have power over all which will happen in the end time who is God.

LITTLE LAMBS 30TH ANNVIERSARY CELEBRATION THIS SUNDAY!!
We will have a special worship service to celebrate our Little Lambs and then celebrate with a golf outing in the afternoon at Country Lakes. Registration is still open for the two person scramble. $60 covers golf, food, drinks and prizes!! Call 456-2888 to sign up!

DOWNTOWN FESTIVAL CHURCH BOOTH WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!
People got to see our church folks in action and hear or read all about us! It was A LOT of fun, and we made a bit of money too! Praise the Lord!

LITTLE LAMBS IS MAKING A BUDDY BENCH OUT OF RECYCLED PLASTIC CAPS
Please save your plastic bottle and jugs caps They will need 30 pounds of them. (water, soda, Gatorade, milk jugs, etc. are accepted.) There is a receptacle in the narthex or you can just bring them down to the preschool teacher's table in the preschool room.

For CONNER FIGURA going through tech training in the Air Force.
For both DAN DREYER and SAM HARGROVE as they adjust to civilian life and await their next assignments.
For COLTON FIGURA deployed to Turkey for five more months.
For DAVID TATE stationed in Japan, and ALEX WALTERS, stationed in Tennessee. That God would bless their service to our country and keep them safe as they all await possible deployment.
For CALEB FIGURA AND VINCE MASTERS who are both serving our country in the National Guard and take time out of their lives, jobs, and families to go on duty several times a year.
