Two prayer requests

There are two prayer requests that I failed to add this morning in my hurriedness.
1. Pray for MARV HENDERSHOT as his blood sugar levels have gone out of control for an unknown reason.  He is doing tests and Doc visits this week to get it figured out.
2. Pray for STEVE ROBINE as he recovers from his bike accident that ended his trip across the USA just 250 miles short of his goal.  (He was hit in the back of the head by a big RV mirror.)  It is a good thing he was wearing a helmet or he would be dead.    He has a broken rib, several scrapes and bruises, and is still in a bit of pain but is recovering well.  Go to this link to get all the details.
Thank you and have a blessed day!!

DEVOTION:  "See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God."  Hebrews 12:15
Do you know people who are, at this very moment, failing to obtain the grace of God?  Maybe they are doubting Christ's forgiveness.  Maybe they have never been taught the truths of Scripture to begin with.  Maybe the world has had too much influence on them and they have come to the conclusion that they don't need Jesus or that he doesn't even exist.
I have known and know people who are like that right now.  It is really hard to talk to them a lot about Jesus.  If we do it too much it just sounds like nagging.  If we don't do it enough then we have the guilt that we haven't tried hard enough and we haven't done what God wants us to do.
I want to encourage you to keep working at it.  Don't give up.  Don't quit, especially on your kids and grandkids.  But also remember that you have two ears and one mouth for a reason.  you are thinking of might just need someone to listen more than they speak.  They might need to see forgiveness modeled more than they need to hear it talked about.  They might need you to show them Jesus more than they need to hear about him from you.
Whatever the case you can rest assured that if you live on Christ's love and let the Holy Spirit guide you, He will act.  He will do it.  Solomon said as much when he said, "Commit your way to the Lord and He will act."
Trust in the Lord.  Rest in the Lord.  And He will do His will through you!
Let us pray:  Lord God, help me to rely on You.  Help me to care for and love those who haven't yet obtained Your grace so that they may see, hear, and experience Your grace through me.  Amen.

Sam Hargrove- Army- 2 Lieutenant- Ft Rucker, Alabama, will be going through helicopter flight school and other training
David Mincemeyer- Army- Army Specialist- Ft. Carson, CO

If there are more out there that I just don't know about, please let me know, and I will include him/her on the list.
Also, if you would like your family member or friend included in this list, please reply to this email with all the information!
Pray for these guys.  Some of these guys are in harm's way right now, others are training to put themselves in harm's way.  All of them have volunteered to serve and protect their country (which is you).
