Come to downtown Warrenton at 11:45 am to see our area MALE leaders Walk a Mile in Her Shoes.  (Ok, probably not actually a MILE... more like around the courthouse).

It may not be pretty,
but it sure is important.

Area men taking a stand and walking the walk include (more are being added every day):

Roger Mauzy, Warren County Commissioner

Dan Sampson, Warren County Commissioner
Huebie Kluestner, Warren Commissioner
Oscar Hunter, CEO Hunter Modular
Mike Owenby, Chief, Warrenton Fire Protection District
Nathan Carroz, Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney
Greg Houdyshell, Chief, Warrenton Police Department
Tony Thweatt, Warrenton Police Department

Chris Merritt, CPD University of MO Extension
Keith Huff, Shelter Insurance
and others (to be named) ...

These men are accepting pledges for Turning Point -
If you would like to donate to Turning Point to see these guys in heels,
track one of them down or give us a call!

The walk will be followed by a light lunch at the
MU Extension Office in Warrenton.

See you on August 24!

Please help support a critical resource in our community!

Each year Turning Point serves at least 230 women and their children in person, and we provide an additional 700 hotline calls for help and safety.  All have been direct victims or have witnessed the victimization of their mothers.  Turning Point provides them with immediate safety, help with linking to community resources, court advocacy, emotional support and healing, and financial planning for a more effective future.

Turning Point provides emergency shelter and supportive services to victims of domestic and sexual violence - serving the Missouri Counties of Warren, Gasconade, Montgomery, St. Charles, and Franklin.
