My grandson Jonas, 16 passed away this morning, Thursday, at 12:30. His passing was peaceful. Service is still pending. Sympathy cards can be sent to Mr. & Mrs Joel Borchert , 24706 Timberlake Dr., Greenwood, Mo.64o34.

Here's a prayer for him and his family:
Lord God, bless Don as he mourns the loss of his grandson way too early and too young. We thank you for the life you gave to him and the love that was given to him and came from you. We can't wait for the day when we will see him and know him along with all those we love who have gone before us into paradise. Until then we mourn the loss but also rejoice in the eternal life you won for Jonas. Bless Don and the rest of the family as they make preparations for the funeral and burial that it may be a time of peace and joy in the midst of great grief and sadness. We thank you for taking away Jonas's pain and sickness and replacing it with perfection. Blessed be your name, O God. Amen.
