Please pray for the family of John Kopp. John passed away on Tuesday, June 11th.
John had valiantly battled cancer over the past few years; but he took a horrible fall last week and sustained several broken bones and a severe head injury. I haven't talked to Dorothy, his wife, yet; but I'm guessing that fall is what got him to heaven quicker than the advancing cancer.
He was a very interesting man with a great sense of humor. He had a great faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and kept a very positive outlook throughout his illness. He and Dorothy even kept on bowling and staying on the move. Case in point - John took that fall as he was exiting a restaurant! STILL on the go! Looks like they will still have their family reunion this Saturday as planned - just in a different way; but still to celebrate John as a father.
