Reconciliation is a hard thing to accomplish, but it is the most gratifying, most satisfying, most God pleasing thing there is in this whole world. Reconciliation is what God wants for our relationship with him and our relationships with one another.
Let me repeat that.... GOD WANTS RECONCILIATION!!! He doesn't want revenge. He doesn't want you to simply get your way no matter what the cost. He doesn't want bitterness and resentment until the cows come home. HE WANTS RECONCILIATION!!!!
That reconciliation is not only possible through Christ. In our relationship with God it is CERTAIN in Christ. We ARE a new creation! It's not that we will become a new creation when we die and go to heaven. We already ARE new creations if we are in Christ!
So, just like Paul implored the Corinthians, so I implore you. Be reconciled to God. Whatever sin is getting in the way, whatever pride, whatever embarrassment, whatever thoughts of revenge or bitterness, whatever is keeping you from reconciliation, surrender it! Go to God and give it to Him.
Just a reminder, that's one of the main reasons I am here. I am here to hear your confession and to give you Christ's forgiveness! I am here to help you reconcile with God and with each other! I have had A LOT of training in reconciliation and know what it takes.
The first and most important thing that it takes is a willing heart. So I pray that God the Holy Spirit makes you willing to be reconciled to Him and to everyone else.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for making us a new creation in Christ! Give us minds and hearts that are always willing to be reconciled, knowing that you alone are the one that makes it possible and makes us able. Amen.

YESTERDAY'S BIBLE QUIZ: What must a man do if he seduces a virgin that he is not married to and sleeps with her even if the father refuses to let her marry him? He had to pay a dowry price (50 shekels of silver) in fact , he often had to pay a double dowry to make her a more desirable bride.

Unfortunately over the past several years, they have barely broken even on these dinners. The parents usually donate the desserts and even much of the other food out of their own pockets. Without that the youth would probably lose money.
It is especially important that they make money this year, as they will need all they can get to make their goal for the National Youth Gathering in new Orleans.
I want to encourage you all to attend these dinners, and, while there is no set price per person for these dinners, a generous free will offering is strongly encouraged!!
Below is the Menu for each week:
March 2-
taco bar w/all the fixings
desserts
March 9-
pasta
salad
rolls
desserts
March 16-
Fried Chicken
potatoes
corn
rolls
desserts
As always, thank you for your continued support of the future of Christianity!!!
