Yesterday was Pearl Harbor Day and there was a request from Elaine Schauer that I would pray about it. I forgot about it till worship was over:
Here is the prayer:
On December 7, 1941 the world was changed forever. The enemy attacked and we were forced to defend our nation and our freedoms. Bless and keep those who may still be mourning the loss of loved ones that occurred that day and that continue to occur to this very day because of the casualties of war. Bless our military throughout the world as they protect our nation from threats and attacks as the one that happened in Pearl harbor. Keep them safe as they fight to protect our freedoms, as they defend our land against enemies, and as they care for thousands in the wake of wars that rage all around the world. Give them peace to know that they are doing your will as long as they are obeying commands to fight for freedom of people everywhere and protect and defend their home nation. Amen.
