We will be fortunate to host The Gateway Ringers, a prestigious handbell choir, this Fri., Dec. 12 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in O'Fallon, MO. This was a last-minute booking so I apologize for the late notice. Our music director told me that she contacted music directors in the area to get the word out. So, we're asking if you do email blasts this week to include this one about the concert this Friday. If you have Midweek services, maybe it could be announced. Join the Gateway Ringers as we celebrate the season with our holiday concert – "Believe". Featuring new and old holiday favorites including "White Christmas", "Sleigh Ride" and "Believe" (from "The Polar Express"), there's a little something for everyone.
The Gateway Ringers is an auditioned community choir, comprised of handbell ringers from the St. Louis metropolitan area. Formed in 1995, Gateway performs using five octaves of Malmark handbells, six octaves of Malmark Choirchimes, and two octaves of Schulmerich Sliver Melody bells.
The concert will be held this Friday, December 12, at 7:30 pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 8945 Veterans Memorial Parkway, O'Fallon, MO 63366, and is free and open to the public. For more information, email info@gatewayringers.org.
